Contactless optical techniques for crime scenes documentation

This work has been carried out in the frame of a thesis work, in the year 2004-2005. The aim was to understand the feasibility of using a Time of Flight scanner for the documentation of crime scenes, in view of their study and analysis in subsequent times.

The laboratory was requested by the Italian Police to study the applicability of optical contactless techniques to real, long range scenes. Davide Rossi is the student who carried out the work. The scene was the courtyard of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Brescia.

The thesis document is available on request.
